  • Substitute u for any unknown digit.

  • If not supplied, leave blank.

  • Do not supply a received date on the basis of the inventory date, if none is given on the inventory form. NOTE: Some received dates, input in ORION1 with underlines for unknown month and day, migrated as just two characters for the year; e.g. 97____ migrated as 97.

    For analytics code only once, either on record for piece as a whole, or, if none made, on record for first analytic. On others, code 000 [3 zeroes].

  • For analytics, code only once, either on record for piece as a whole, or, if none made, on record for first analytic. On others, code 000 [3 zeroes].

  • When no attempt has been made to supply information, code 000 [3 zeroes].

  • Use only for film; do not add this subfield to video or sd. rec. records.
